Gun Control
I am a firm believer in the 2nd Amendment. Whether you own a gun for protection or sport, it will always be your right as an American to do so. I believe this right extends to automatic weapons and silencers. This right has to be weighed against the prevalence of mass shootings in today's society. Every citizen should pass a background check to obtain a firearm. In addition, I do not believe you need more than 30 rounds per magazine to protect yourself, hunt, or target shoot. The time it takes an active shooter to reload could be the difference between life and death for numerous victims. It does not solve mass shootings, but it gives people an opportunity to fight or run. The ATF should spend their time running down explosives and stop wasting their time on guns.
